Effective from 1 May 2026.
1. Who we are
SIP C0DE is operated by Solomon Wines SRL, registered in the Republic of Moldova at IDNO 1234567890123, with its registered office at str. Pușkin 22, Chișinău, MD-2005.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from SIP C0DE. By placing an order, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction. We may verify ID at the door at the moment of delivery.
3. Orders & payment
Prices are listed in MDL and include VAT. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, and cash on delivery within Chișinău. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion (e.g., if a product is mispriced or out of stock); in that case we'll refund any payment in full.
4. Subscriptions (Code Box)
Subscribing to Code Box enrolls you in a recurring monthly charge at the rate displayed at signup. You may pause, swap a bottle, skip a month, or cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the next billing cycle — bottles already paid for will still ship.
5. Liability
We don't warranty subjective taste preferences. We do warranty wine quality: if a bottle is faulty (corked, oxidized, etc.), we'll refund or replace it within 14 days of delivery upon receipt of evidence (a photo or short note suffices).
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Disputes will first be addressed informally; if unresolved, they fall to the competent courts of Chișinău.
What we collect
The minimum we need to ship your wine and answer your questions: your name, email, shipping address, phone number, and order history. If you subscribe to Code Box, we also store your payment method (tokenized — we never see the card itself).
How we use it
- To process and ship orders.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and (if you opt in) batch announcements.
- To improve the catalog: aggregate, anonymized data on what people buy together.
- For legal and tax obligations under Moldovan law.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with marketing networks. We don't track you across the web with third-party pixels. There are no Facebook/Meta pixels on this site.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where not legally required). Email privacy@sipcode.md.
Domestic shipping
- Standard · 48 hours within Chișinău, free over 500 MDL, otherwise 50 MDL flat.
- Express · same day within Chișinău if ordered before 14:00, +50 MDL.
- Pickup · free from str. Pușkin 22, Mon–Fri 11–19, Sat 11–15.
- Rest of Moldova: 5–7 business days, 75 MDL flat (free over 800 MDL).
International
Not yet. Coming when we lock the next three codes — probably late 2026. Subscribe to the newsletter and we'll let you know.
Returns
If a bottle arrives broken or faulty, photograph the damage and email hello@sipcode.md within 14 days. We'll send a replacement at our cost or issue a full refund.
If you simply didn't enjoy a wine — that's allowed, and it counts. Tell us in two sentences why and we'll refund the bottle (max 1 per order).
Delivery requirements
Someone aged 18+ must be present to sign for the delivery and present a valid ID. If no one is home, the courier will leave a re-delivery slip with instructions.
Strictly necessary
We use a few first-party cookies to make the site work — to remember your cart, preserve your sign-in session, and keep your theme preference. These can't be disabled without breaking core functionality.
Analytics
We use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool (Plausible) that doesn't identify individual users. No tracking cookies, no fingerprinting, no third-party scripts.
What we don't use
No Google Analytics. No Meta/Facebook pixel. No retargeting cookies. No ad networks.
Local storage
We use localStorage only to remember your theme preference (light/dark). You can clear it anytime via your browser settings.
Age requirement
By Moldovan law, alcohol may only be sold to and delivered to persons aged 18 or older. By placing an order with SIP C0DE, you confirm you meet that age requirement.
Verification at delivery
Our courier is required to check ID before handing over the package. If the recipient cannot present a valid ID showing they are 18+, the package will be returned to our cellar.
