In short: we use no cookies and collect no personal data. We only count visits, anonymously, with a tool we host ourselves (Umami).

The site is static and has no forms that collect personal data. For traffic statistics we use Umami, on our own server, which sets no cookies and does not follow you from one site to another.
Umami keeps only aggregate data: pages visited, device and browser type, where the visit came from (e.g. a link elsewhere) and the country. IP addresses are not stored; no visitor can be identified from this data.
We use no analytics or marketing cookies. That is why there is no cookie banner either.
Since we process no personal data and use no cookies, the anonymous statistics rest on our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read. We follow the data protection law of the Republic of Moldova and the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors from the EU.
The aggregate data stays on our statistics server and is never sent or sold to anyone. We build no individual profiles.
