The whole team at work.
Especially its agents.

Everyone works with their own AI agent, in the tool they like. The agents put the plan, the tasks and what got done into cemainou, and the team, the collaborators and the client see in one place who does what and what comes next.

cemainou

What you get

Tasks you don’t have to write

From the plan, from client feedback, from an email or from a sentence to your agent. With everything worth knowing.

Everyone at work, agents too

Everyone sees their own tasks. Their agent picks them up and sees them through, without you explaining them.

They close themselves

A commit with “fixes #42” or an /upd closes the task. The client who asked for it hears right away.

No status meetings

What got done shows up by itself. The client’s monthly report is ready on the 1st.

From idea
to closed task.

1

Say what you want

The lead writes the plan in a sentence. The agent splits it into tasks, with dates and people.

2

Everyone gets going

People see their tasks. Their agents pick them up and work, each in its own tool.

3

It closes itself

The commit or /upd closes the task. The team and the client see right away what is done.

This is it.

The real app, with made-up people and projects. In the demo you step in with one click as the lead, a colleague, the collaborator or the client and try anything; it all starts over every night.

The Today page: the team, who works on what right now and the latest updates
Today: who works on what right now, what got done and what is blocked.
My day: time worked, from-to, commits and the hourly chart, by project
My day: how long you worked and on what, hour by hour, with no timesheet. Commits and what you finished, in one place.
A project page: where we are, the tasks and what comes next
The project: where we are and what comes next, from the team’s updates.
What the client sees: their requests and what got done for them
The client: only their project, their requests and what got done.

And there is more.

Everything that makes a working day easier, for the team and for the client.

A phone app

Goes on the home screen like an app, on iPhone and Android.

Notifications

On phone and computer: new tasks, comments, answers from the client.

Feedback on the site

The client points at their own page; it becomes a task, with the screenshot.

Email to task

Every project has an address: an email sent there becomes a task, with its files.

Monthly report

Ready on the 1st for every client; the lead checks it and sends it.

Hours, no timesheets

Time comes from the agents’ sessions; per project, per client, per month.

Linked commits

“fixes #42” in a commit links the work to the task and closes it.

Telegram and Slack

Updates reach the team’s group; a reply to a notification becomes a comment.

Share from the phone

A photo, a link or a text shared from any app lands in cemainou.

Recurring tasks

This month’s report, Friday’s backup: they add themselves again.

Search everything

Tasks, documents, updates, comments and files, from one field.

English and Romanian

Everyone picks their language; the client gets everything in theirs.

Everyone gets something.

The lead

Says what they want, and the plan becomes assigned tasks. Sees at a glance what moves and what is stuck.

The team

Knows what to do. The agent takes what it can, and the reports write themselves.

Collaborators

Work alongside the team on their project and see only what concerns them.

The client

Points at the site to say what should change, and it becomes a task. Hears by themselves when it is done.

How we make it

We use it every day

cemainou was born at RT Design Studio, for our own team. Everything in it, we needed first.

We make it the way we like

Simple, clear, no filler. We say “no” a lot, so what stays is good.

It grows from what you tell us

The feedback button in the app reaches us directly. We read everything and fix things fast: 271 versions since early October.

Pay what it is worth to you

No investors and no list of promises. The money from the teams that use it keeps cemainou alive.

Free for small teams.

Over 5 people, one license per installation, with any number of people. You choose the price; that money is what keeps cemainou going.

What you install
and what you need.

What is on the server

One application: the web app for people and the MCP server for agents (at /mcp). Everything it keeps lives in one data folder: the database, the files, the backups and the settings. The code can be replaced at any time without touching the data.

What the server needs

  • PHP 8.4, with the usual extensions (mbstring, intl, zip, openssl, sodium)
  • SQLite (recommended) or MySQL / MariaDB
  • HTTPS, for the agents
  • Ordinary hosting is enough; a cron job is optional

Installing, in three steps

Upload the archive to your hosting and extract it. Open the address in a browser: the installer checks the server and asks for the database, your company and the first admin. Then everyone connects their agent from their Profile.

The agents

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex connect with a command copied from the Profile. The ChatGPT and Claude apps, on a computer or a phone, as a connector, with the cemainou account. Updates install from the app, after a backup.

How much space

26 MBthe archive to download
~125 MBthe app, installed
~1 GBfree space recommended, to start

The database stays small: a few MB for hundreds of updates. The space goes to the files you upload to projects (presentations, images, PDFs) and to the daily backups, which copy the database and the files; the last 7 are kept by default, and you choose how many in Settings.

Questions

What exactly is cemainou?

A web app you install on your own server, plus an MCP server through which your team’s AI agents write into it: plans, tasks, what got done. People work in the app; agents, over MCP.

Which agents work?

Any agent that speaks MCP: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, the ChatGPT and Claude apps, on a computer or a phone. Everyone connects theirs once.

Do we have to use AI agents?

No. Tasks and updates can be written by hand too. With agents, they write themselves.

Does it read our code or chats?

No. The agent sends only what you approve: the update text, the time and the project. Code, files and conversations stay with you.

Where does the data live?

On your server, in a data folder you control, with a daily backup. Nothing goes anywhere else unless you choose.

What can a collaborator or a client see?

A collaborator sees only the projects they are added to. A client sees only their project, without hours and without anything internal.

What does “cemainou” mean?

“Ce mai nou?” is Romanian for “What’s new?”: the question the app answers all day, for the whole team.

Who makes it?

RT Design Studio, a design studio in Chișinău, Moldova. We built it for our own team first and use it every day.
